Just 15 kilometres from Mostar is Rujišta. That is a starting point of
this hike. Rujišta is very popular destintaion for campers, especially in
the winter. Path to Bijele Vode starts from the mountain house Rujišta and leads towards the Varda peak troug a thick pine forest. Valley Bijele Vode is located in central Prenj and it there is a lot of water source here. There is brand new mountain house “Adnan Krilić”. Valley is sorounded with a beautiful peaks of Sivadija ridge and with Kamenac.
From the mountain house,the path goes trough valley Velike bare up to Zelena glava. When passing through valley Velike bare you can enjoy the unique view to ridge Botini, a few peaks over 2000 m a.s.l.
From the top you can see almost all peaks of Prenj above 2000m: Otiš, Lupoglav, Velika kapa, Vjetrena brda, Botini, Sivadije, Kamenac, Plavac and Zubac. If you sleep in the mountain house Bijele vode you have the chance of two days hiking.
